elendenika: VasquezE(10/04/05 04:30:48) И что они нашли в "Иллюзии полета"?? Как раз это понятно. Во-первых, звезда класса А - Джоди Фостер, - и несколько звездочек помельче, но все-таки звездочек. Для Америки это гарантия качественного развлечения: "Ей платят по 20 миллионов за роль, значит кино стоящее". Во-вторых, забавный (хотя и чисто формальный) сюжетный выверт: то, что нынче модно делать эффектным финалом, в "Иллюзии полета" сделано финалом первого акта. Зрителя это цепляет, и он включается в игру. Американцы же дети - им важен игровой элемент, с ними играют в жанровые условности, и им это нравится. Примерно так же строились "Дикие штучки": бралась хорошо известная история с многократно виденными героями, и над этой историей надстраивалась другая, совершенно невообразимая с точки зрения закона случайностей и человеческой психологии, но зато безупречная с точки зрения формальной логики. (Кстати, вчера или позавчера профсоюз американских летчиков сломал зрителям весь кайф, заявив протест против того, что фильм --- и дальше черным по белому выкладывался главный спойлер "Иллюзии полета", вообще все, на чем он держится). It's made of wood and paint and plastic for television purposes, but slippery nonetheless. "They gave me these beautiful $2,000 prop shoes to wear. They were probably designed for people who don't run much," notes Marsters. He spent the next day with his ankle on ice for real, watching it "turn interesting shades of purple." However, "I was up 30 seconds after I fell, running on it. You always get the shot; you can't compromise that," he says. Outside of the pain, "I'm loving it," he says of his new series incarnation. "I had such a good meeting with the producers initially. They had passionate ideas about what they wanted to do, a laser clear objective. That's unusual." Marsters has come aboard to play arch villain Brainiac in the series, but for now, he'd rather just talk about Brainiac's alter-ego, Professor Milton Fine. "I am trying to wake Clark Kent up," he says wryly. "Like many political science professors, I am trying to open my students' minds." Marsters will complete one set of "Smallville" episodes, then head to London to do a one-man show -- which he describes as being about "why I love acting, I suppose" -- before returning to shoot more episodes.

Не совсем понятно, будут ли они все в одной истории, или в каждом комиксе будет встреча с одним персонажем. Скорее всего, второе. Мы обе пришли к выводу, что самый очевидная концепция - "Горец". Похоже, господа издатели тоже так думают... В новом комиксе "Спайк: Старые раны" герой снова показан в двух разных эпохах, и прошлое переплетается с настоящим. Где-то в середине 5 сезона "Ангела" лос-анджелесский частный детектив обвиняет Спайка в убийстве, совершенном в 1947 году - знаменитой истории о "Черном георгине". The crew seems to be in a jovial mood, happy that they got pretty much all they needed. Also impressive was the fact that they didn't run into a lot of overtime over the past 30 days. Give credit to everyone involved for making the ridiculous schedule. The wrap party comes this week, then it's hardcore editing time. Sam Bauer and his staff have already been burning the midnight oil cutting scenes as they roll in each day. We'll see if they move with the same efficiency now that Richard will be sticking his nose in there. "?

He was originally a computer system on Krypton, that was meant to run the planet. He would run everything from the weather to the traffic. And he was taken over and corrupted by General Zod, who ran the military on Krypton but tried to take over. Zod, in corrupting Brainiac, brought about the destruction of the planet. I come to town, finding this wonderful planet, I mean really beautiful but, really on the brink of destruction, by these horrible bipeds called humans, who look like us but don't have nearly the intelligence of Kryptons... Kryptonites ... Kryptonians. We should probably save it from these humans and kill them off. And then we can have a new Krypton. Because the humans probably going to kill themselves off in 50 to 100 years anyway, max. So why not? The thing I like about about the character he's got a very clear objective. And he's very intelligent. I mean, he's a super computer system so he's very intelligent. Not in a cold, kind of mechanical way. In a very fluid, human way. So he would be able to fool people into thinking about anything that he wants them to think. And it's not really about trying to beat up Superman and take over the planet. It's about enlisting his help.
